XQB178/8 型闭口动力钳与国外 58-93R 闭口钳相同，是一种安全、精确地上卸扣 1 5/16″-7″油套管的动力钳，在油田修井作业中用来上卸油管螺纹的一种专用机械，是适用最大管径 7" 套管的重型修井动力钳，最大扭矩超过 8 kN.m，适应各种复杂工况下的修井作业。
